Deze lipdub is gemaakt op 13 mei 2011 door 130 studenten en personeel van het ROC Alfa-college, afdeling Welzijn in Groningen. De lipdub is opgenomen door 4 studenten van de opleiding MultiMedia Design, uitstroom Animatie Audiovisuele Vormgeving. Het nummer van True colours is zelf bedacht en ingezongen door Lynn van Rijt, student van de opleiding Sociaal Cultureel Werk. Het tweede nummer; Aint Got no, is gezongen door Shary Ann van het programma The voice of Holland.

Is it truly impossible to find a job in the graphic design field?

This is what I keep hearing, I wanted to get an idea from an outside source, outside my family and other people I know. I haven’t really tried to get a job in my field yet though.
A little background: I have 3 associate degrees, in graphic and multi-media design, web design and development, and basic programming and networking. I do have some freelancing experience, but no experience outside of that. I have a strong passion for art, and graphics is right up my alley. I’m currently working at McDonald’s, and have been there for over a year, as you may have guessed I don’t really want to be working there forever. I’m not expecting the best job in the word, but something I can use my skills in, something I could be content with. Is that too much to ask?
All those around me say just be happy I have a job, and stop reaching for the stars.
Is there any hope?

NHL Hogeschool Lipdub: Scouting For Girls – Famous

Op vrijdag 29 oktober is de NHL Hogeschool omgedoopt tot een heuse filmset. Ongeveer 150 NHL-studenten playbackten het nummer ‘Famous’ van de band Scouting For Girls.

Niet alleen de studenten hebben zich uitgedost, maar ook het schoolgebouw is een hele metamorfose ondergaan . Zo is de centrale hal omgetoverd tot een night club en is de kantine omgebouwd tot dansvloer.

De lipdub is gemaakt door studenten van de opleiding Communication & Multimedia Design.

Hull History Viewer is a local heritage, augmented reality mobile phone application for the Android platform.

Hull History Viewer will offer potential users a chance to see recreations of local buildings in their original locations, using their own Android device’s camera and viewer. Historical information about the buildings or places featured within the application will also be available.

Hull History Viewer has been developed at the Hull School of Art & Design by 3rd year Interactive Multimedia student Phillip Shakesby.
